Sixth Form Leadership Team
Head Students
Welcome to SPH Sixth Form! We are the head students – Tilly Allison, Odeta Babinskaite, Samuel Chambers and Ben Jenkinson. The Sixth Form is a great community and really welcoming; our role as head students is work with the wider Leadership Team to make sure that everyone experiences all that SPH has to offer.
Something at the heart of the Sixth Form is ambition for growth – not just academically but as individuals. Opportunities for such growth are wide ranging, and there truly is something for everyone. In addition to a broad spectrum of extra curricular clubs, societies and competitions, the whole Sixth Form also devotes periods 5 and 6 of every other Wednesday to Enrichment. This is a chance to get stuck in, meet new people and take part in one of an ever-growing list of activities.
We are so privileged that to be able to represent a school that prioritises the wellbeing of all students, creating a genuine sense of family. SPH Sixth Form is an integral part of this family, and we want to give back to the SPH community for all that it has provided for us.
If want to ask us anything, or just say hello, please email: headstudents@sphcs.co.uk
We are always happy to chat and give help and advice!

Charity
Welcome from the Charity Team
We’re proud to introduce the Charity Team for the 2025/2026 school year at St Philip Howard Catholic School. This year, the team is led by Toby Ashover, and made up of Dan, Cerys, Luca, Amelia, Harry, and Eloise.
As part of the student leadership team, we’re committed to making this year a memorable and meaningful one for the whole school community. Through a range of charity events and initiatives, we aim to bring people together, raise awareness, and make a positive impact both within and beyond our school.
We believe that giving back and supporting others is an essential part of school life at SPH. It teaches us compassion, responsibility, and the value of working as a team toward a shared goal.
Our work this year will not only support important causes but also help strengthen our school spirit and sense of community. With your support, we hope to make 2025/26 one of the best and most rewarding years yet.
If you have any ideas for events or charities, you’d like us to support, we’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s a cause that means a lot to you or a creative fundraising idea, we’re always open to new suggestions and want to involve as many voices as possible in the work we do.
– The SPH Charity Team 2025/26
Hello we are the new Outreach Team here at Saint Philip Howard. We are led by Elisa Cauchy-Duval and our team members include: Nevaeh, Julija, Eric, Jake, Weronika and Matt. Our role within the Sixth Form Leadership Team is to get in touch with local charities and businesses and support them by promoting their services, buying their products and fundraising for their causes.
We assist with many events throughout the school year, for example Race for Life, Sports Day, the Summer Fair, Sixth Form Prom and many more, where we take charge of raffle and stall prices, event venues and everyone’s favourite: ice cream truck!
We look forward to help fundraise loads of money for charities and raise awareness of local companies. Do you know of any local businesses that would be willing to donate prizes or want promoting within our school and Sixth Form? Get in touch with us and we will help wherever we can!
Student Experience
The mission of the Student Experience Team is to provide an engaging and fulfilling experience for every student. We organise events, enrichment programs, and initiatives that go beyond the classroom. Some of the activities we support include the Winter ball, school events and other opportunities for students to connect, grow, and thrive. We want to ensure that every student feels valued, supported and that there is something for them in our community.
Student Voice
Hello! We are the Student Voice Team at SPH Sixth Form consisting of Elena, Ruby, Olivia, Joe, Ela, Daisy, Evie and led by Rosie.
Our main role is to promote our lovely Sixth Form and alert students, staff and parents about the current and upcoming events occurring in school. As part of this, we run the Sixth Form’s social media accounts as well as producing a Newsletter, The Insider, which gets sent out each half term to students in Years 10-13 and also to the parents and carers of all year groups. We encourage students both in the main school and the sixth form to contribute by writing articles about current affairs and topics they find interesting which can then be edited by us and shared.
As the Student Voice Team, we believe that the representation of the student life and family-like community at SPH should be celebrated. We hope to give students the opportunity to have their voices heard and their talents and passions shown. The heart of our mission is creating an environment where students can be the person God calls them to be, because all in all communication creates community.
Please feel free to message us on our Instagram @sph_6thform if you would like to find out more or get involved!
Student Wellbeing
Hello! We are the 2025/26 St Philip Howard Catholic School Wellbeing Team—a group of committed Sixth Form students working to promote mental health, emotional resilience, and a positive school culture for everyone in our community. As part of the student leadership team, our aim is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student feels heard, respected, and empowered.
This year, we’re focusing on being more visible and accessible to the whole school—not just the Sixth Form. We’ll be working closely with staff, tutors, and speaking to students to make wellbeing a shared priority both inside and out of the classroom.
As a team of approachable and compassionate individuals, we understand the many challenges students face, and we’re here to offer support from a place of empathy and care. We believe that wellbeing means giving everyone the opportunity to thrive—physically, mentally, and emotionally—so that all members of our school community can grow, achieve, and find happiness in daily life.

Eco Team
Hi everyone! We are Natalie, Ellie, Vitalina, Rhoda and Tristan: The Eco Team. As a group we are driven by the three R’s (Reduce, Re-use and Recycle) which help use make the most difference within our school environment. Eco Team’s new initiative is to try and spread awareness about how to people can positively impact the environment in their daily life. Through this we are hoping to work with KS3 in the bring creative projects which allow them to have fun and learn about the importance of caring for our world. We also hope to highlight the importance of 22nd April 2026, which is Earth Day, by inviting everyone to wear green on that day.
We also have a few projects in the works which we are excited to share with the whole school in the next academic year. If there are any questions or suggestions to the eco team, please email the eco team leader: 19AyreN@sphcs.co.uk
Hello everyone! We are the newly formed team for the Heads of Houses, and we’re so excited to be leading each house in some friendly competition and charity fundraising across this school year. Led by Diego Savage-Melendez and Ruth Myers, we’re hoping to make some changes around things like sports days, house assemblies and charity events.
Alongside your staff head of house, our aim is to reform the system we’ve been using for years by changing the saints that represent your houses to more modern and current role models that we feel really represent the catholic social teachings we stand by. So, in the new school year, expect to see some changes in house names… and maybe some familiar names and faces.
This year we have an aim of £1,500 raised for charity per house. That’s £10,500! After last year’s record of £10,000, it will be a challenge – but together we will make it happen. So, keep an eye out for where you can get involved.
If you have any questions or ideas for the new house system, don’t hesitate to email the coordinators:

We can’t wait to hear from you!
