  • The course is now linear which means students will sit all exams at the end of the 2-year course.
  • The ISA (practical examination) has now been replaced by 12 compulsory practical activities which will be carried out throughout the course in lessons and knowledge and understanding tested in the final exams.

Paper 1:

  •  Section 1-5 and 6.1
  • 34% of A Level
  • 2 hour, 85 marks, written and multiple choice questions


Paper 2:

  • Section 6.2, 7 & 8
  • 34% of A Level
  • 2 hour, 85 marks, written and multiple choice questions


Paper 3:

  • 32% of A Level:
  • Sec A: Practical Skills and Data Analysis (45 marks, written questions)
  • Sec B: Option topic 9-13 (35 marks, written questions)
