Once student preferences are known, subjects will be arranged into option blocks. The blocks will be arranged to ensure that the maximum number of students can follow their preferred courses. We endeavour to satisfy students' requests as far as possible.

Some courses may be offered through our collaborative arrangements with local post-16 providers if:
• a subject is not available at St Philip Howard
• there is a clash of subjects for an individual event
• student numbers at St Philip Howard are low for a particular subject.
